greetings ladies and germs!!!

first off id like to thank you very much for your interest=].

my name is john mata and ive created this blog with the intent and purpose to document the musical project, that ive been a part of for some several odd years now, known as PACIFICA. we will also be posting ramblings, thoughts, ideas, current events, etc etc etc.

its been about a year since we released our 'TRANSIENT COLORS [EP]' and i am more than thrilled to record our new songs for everyone to hear already! we start our pre-production this week and head into the studio with bret hudzietz of farewell studios in the middle of september.

in this state of how the music industry and the economy is in, its almost foolish to think you can make money selling your music and actually be heard, especially a band starting out as we are. thats why we will be scattering our 'untitled as of yet EP' for free.

so there ya go kiddies... please come back for studio updates/blogs/vlogs/smlogs/etc. we will have a plethora of words/references/photos/thoughts/videos for the interested. in closing, id like to leave you with a moment of one of the best shows ive ever seen live. ladies and germs.... mr jon brion.

infinite love,
john mata
